Charged dry powder is sprayed onto a grounded metal part; particles are drawn to the surface and adhere evenly, including edges and recesses liquid paint would miss.
The part is then cured in an oven; the powder melts and cross-links into a single continuous film that mechanically locks onto the metal.
Since it contains no solvent, the process produces no VOC emissions, and overspray powder can be collected and reused.
RAL code, gloss level and film thickness are logged for every batch, so a repeat order can be matched exactly to the first one.
