Wheel coating starts by removing the wheel from the tyre — taking off the valve and bearing seals — and sandblasting away the old paint and dirt.
The cleaned wheel is then electrostatically coated with powder and cured in the oven, producing a thicker, more even and impact-resistant finish than spray paint.
The original colour code can be matched, or you can pick a different shade from the RAL chart; matte, gloss and metallic finishes are all available.
If the wheel has dents, cracks or a balance issue, it's best to identify this before coating — the finish is cosmetic and won't fix structural damage.
